Dr. Kate Tulenko is a globally recognized health systems and health workforce expert and the founder and CEO of Corvus Health, a health workforce firm that offers scalable services from education to employment and Appleseed Education, an EdTech platform to digitalize, expand, and improve health professional schools. Corvus Health is leading the way in Artificial Intelligence change management in the health sector and its clients include private equity firms, pharmaceutical companies, development financing institutions, governments, and major foundations.

Her companies have been recognized for their innovation by the International Organization of Employers, Seedstars, and the Center for Advancing Innovation. She previously served as the director of USAID’s global health workforce project, as the coordinator of the World Bank’s Africa health workforce program, and on President Biden’s President’s Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA).

Dr. Tulenko teaches as an adjunct faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She serves on the board of advisors for VaxSyna (plant-based vaccine platform), the Global Business School Network (GBSN), the Ras al Khaimah Center for Health Workforce Development (UAE), and the East African Community Mental Health Network (EACMHN). Her projects have given millions of people new access to health workers and saved governments hundreds of millions of dollars.

Dr. Kate Tulemko holds a BA in Biochemistry from Harvard University, an MD in Medicine and MPH in Health Systems Design and Management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also earned an MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge.
